In today's world there are so many ways leaders that aren't aware or made aware of these important issues. Managing your emotions is hard enough let alone the emotions of your team, the drive of the company and truly understanding the waves of politics in and around you.

Two tips I always offer to leaders are to:

1. Ensure you have your time, your work time and your team / department time alongside (knowing the difference and making note of it are essential)

2. Managing your physical and mental health, as a leader you put your body under so much strain, you need to walk and talk, you need to natural energy boosts alongside drinking enough water, restricting your caffeine intake, your body needs fruit, veg and salad to balance out eating on the go or missing meals.

Burn-out is something rarely is pointed out, trained to spot the signs or guided to listen to your body tell you it needs time and space.
